To End Educational Inequity by Effective Mobilisation of the Youth

Children have the basic constitutional right to education in India. Despite that, this is not guaranteed for children from more deprived backgrounds, vulnerable, excluded and at-risk children who are unable to fulfil their own potential. This inequality in education due to limited access further contributes to a continuous cycle of poverty and a wider social inequity for a significant segment of India’s growing population.

Edforall is a youth volunteer organization aiming to improve educational opportunities available for the vulnerable youth in Vellore and Pondicherry. From challenging the status quo to initiating a deep-rooted change in society, our guiding philosophy is that education should add value to life. Accessibility, high-quality, life skills and relevance being the key factor of our teaching methods. Edforall also provides a platform for the youth to become change makers and help shape the future of our society through education.

Our Work

What have we done?

Edforall runs a program to educate children at risk inshelter homes, orphanages and govt. school.

Our outreach program and curriculum is designed for our children for a period of 5 years.

Our education program is not only an intervention program that helps kids learn English butalso introduces a sibling figure like a brother or sister into their lives.

In addition, our hope project helps our children with life skills and alternate career choice that are bound to help our children succeed in their lives.
